This  one-year program acts as a stepping-stone into the professional arts writing world and enables Kingston to fulfill its commitment to present opportunities for arts writers to publish online. The emerging arts writer residency acts as a stepping stone for an emerging arts writer early in their career and offers the opportunity to join a community of practicing artists, to write and publish critical essays on art exhibits, as well as other writing on the arts of your choosing. The residency provides a platform for publishing and contributing to the cultural dialog in Boston.
