2015 Emerging Artist, Greg Lookerse

The Emerging artist program was conceived to act as a stepping stone for an artist early in their career, into the professional art world of exhibiting and operating an artist run gallery. The artist should not currently be enrolled in a studio program as a student.

The gallery will help an emerging artist show a body of new work in a professional setting. The emerging artist will be connected with experienced mentors who will educate them on the practical aspects of every day art gallery business. In addition, they will have the opportunity to voice their own vision and ideas about future goals for the gallery.

The emerging artist:

The initiation fee and monthly dues are waived. By the end of the emerging artist's tenure the commitment to the gallery culminates in a one-person show in our Center Gallery.
